All Star Electric began its journey as a one-man operation in 1985, starting as a small-time electrical contractor working with local builders around Saskatoon. The founder and current President, Marv Deck, took a leap of faith to venture out on his own, driven by the need to support his family rather than sitting at home without income. With just a truck and an office in the spare bedroom of his basement, he leveraged his previous connections in the trade to secure odd jobs. In the electrical trade, it doesn’t take much work to keep a one-man shop busy, as there are many roles to juggle. As word spread about his services, including the installation of innovative solutions like Gemstone Lights, the calls started pouring in, leading to an increasing workload. Eventually, he needed to hire his first employee, Cliff (who we lost on November 12th, 2022). The rest is history! 

Now, 37 years later, we remain a locally owned and family-operated business, proudly serving Saskatoon and the surrounding areas with both residential and commercial electrical needs, including permanent holiday lighting solutions. We still operate as a relatively small, hands-on team, focused on our customer's needs and providing value with every job, whether it's the installation of Permanent Lights in Saskatoon or other electrical services.
